We are delighted that you are interested in becoming a Forest school volunteer.

What can you expect?

As a Forest School volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of the children in our care.

Our experienced team of educators, committed to providing the highest quality of care and education to our volunteers, will be working with you. We believe that every staff member and volunteer constitutes an essential part of our team, and we dedicate ourselves to providing ongoing training and support to ensure that you feel confident and fulfilled in your role.

We are looking for Forest school volunteers who are passionate about nature and the outdoors.

Volunteers will need some experience of working with children or feel confident in supporting groups in nature based activities. You will engage in delivering outdoor learning with enthusiasm, dedication, and excellent communication skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience.

New Skills opportunities

In house training will be provided with opportunities to learn Bushcraft, green woodwork, plant ID and many more skills. A love of the great outdoors and own transport is essential!

Forest school volunteers, will help to supervise children during outdoor activities. You will have the opportunity to work alongside children aged from 3 to 5 years old, and will be able to contribute to their learning and development in a meaningful way.

We believe that volunteering at A Touch Of The Wild is a unique and rewarding experience. Not only will you be making a difference in the lives of the children in our care, but you will also have the opportunity to connect with nature and develop new skills and friendships.
