Summer Sunshine Open Day

Date/Time

Date(s) - 14/07/2018
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location

Grammarcombe Woods

Join us in camp at Grammarcombe Woods on Saturday 14th July between 10am and 12pm for our Summer Sunshine Open Day. The whole family is invited to take part as we hunt for the amazing creatures that live in our woods and make a bug hotel, craft sticky postcards from wild flowers, toast marshmallows, facepaint and much more.

  • Bug hunt and make bug hotels
  • Sticky postcards, we’ll collect colourful wild flowers to create our own rainbow postcards to take home and remember our visit to the forest
  • Marshmallow toasting
  • Facepainting

This is a free drop-in event so no need to book tickets or RSVP – you can just turn up at any point after 10.00am and stay for as long (or as little) as you like. So grab your sunhat, bring the family and join the A Touch of the Wild team around the campfire.

We require an adult-to-child ratio of 1 adult per 3 children booked. Do please get in touch if this causes you difficulty, as we certainly don’t want to exclude any larger families.
